RSTEC director, Alma Colleli, attended the IAMC Spring Forum in Charleston, SC. The Industrial Asset Management Council is the leading association of industrial asset management and corporate real estate executives, their suppliers and service providers, and economic developers.
RSTEC was a panelist with Hidalgo County at the Association of Entrepreneurs Luncheon on April 18th.
Rio South Texas Economic Council was an exhibitor at MD&M West trade show at the Los Angeles Convention Center from March 27-29, 2012. RSTEC Board Member Raudel Garza (Harlingen EDC), Jaine Cavazos (McAllen EDC) , Elizabeth Domnick (McAllen EDC) and RSTEC Executive Alma Colleli were working the show. They provided information on commercial and industrial properties, workforce demographics, quality of place, incentives and more.

Rio South Texas Economic Council was an exhibitor at SME's WESTEC trade show at the Los Angeles Convention Center from March 27-29, 2012. RSTEC Board Member Daniel Silva (Mission EDC) and RSTEC Executive Raudel Garza were working the show discussing opportunities in South Texas to representatives from hundreds of manufacturing companies. They provided information on commercial and industrial properties, workforce demographics, quality of place, incentives and more.

RSTEC representatives Ramiro Aleman (Harlingen EDC), Alex Meade (MissionEDC), and RSTEC Executive Director Raudel Garza were in Anaheim, CA in February, 2012 for the Medical Device & Manufacturing (MD&M) West trade show. The show gave Rio South Texas Economic Council the opportunity to get in front of hundreds (almost 15,000 in attendance) of manufacturing companies to promote member communities in Hidalgo, Starr, Cameron and Willacy counties. RSTEC continues to market industrial and commercial properties to prospective end-users.
