MISSION, Texas - July 19, 2012 - The Mission Economic Development Corporation and the Mission City Council unanimously approved the creation of Ruby Red Ventures, a $100,000 small business fund that aims to nurture entrepreneurial spirit and promote the creation of innovative businesses in the City of Mission.

Edinburg awaiting report on consumer profiles to attract new businesses to four key corridors

Cinch Connectors, an electronics company headquartered in Illinois, plans to shift some manufacturing operations from northeast Oklahoma to McAllen in September, creating about 50 local jobs.
Grand Rapids Foam Technologies, a company new to Rio South Texas, will create 150 jobs in McAllen.
